May 19th to May 25th, 2011
Goodbye Taurus, hello Gemini, on Saturday morning. Things lighten up as our mind wanders beyond such material concerns as food, shelter and subsistence/existence—if we're able and lucky! Here come the winds of change to carry the songs. Let's communicate, let's speak our minds, and let's (learn to) sing. Here are some tunes I'll suggest for you to lighten up your plight as we continue into the light.
(4/20-5/20) You're happy! You're sad? Mercury (intelligence and communication), Venus (love, balance, art and beauty) and Mars (energy and spark) are embarking on their journey through early Taurus, but alas, your season of Taurus is soon over. It's over on Friday night. Ka Boom! Your song is "Party Till the Cows Come Home," by Elvin Bishop.
(5/21-6/21) You're happy! Finally, people are listening to you! You don't have to hide behind a barrage of camouflage—for a short while. OMG! They're listening! But then, if they're REALLY listening, they'll know…eventually… We('ll) all know, eventually. Are you listening to me? We know, and we still love you. You're the breath of spring. Your song, of course, is "Gemini," from the ZODIAC CD. Please don't listen…
(6/22-7/22) You dream early on Friday morning (Moon conjunct Pluto). Someone exquisitely sexy, in black, vaguely peers upon a sleeping form (yours?) amidst a background of dancing drapes in the breeze (Gemini). "The Look of Love" is in their eyes. On Saturday night, around 11:11, look around the room and (Moon in Aquarius trine the Gemini Sun) you should get an unexpected answer to your dream; one that you can make happen, if you'll communicate.
(7/23-8/22) At last the burden has lifted and your yoke can turn back to a joke! How does the MoJo know which way the wind's gonna blow? Wasn't last month a bear? Take a break. It's "Heaven" on Earth here in Nebraska. Lie back on the Earth and meditate on what your dreams are worth (Taurus), and then let the breeze blow your blues away. Welcome Gemini on Saturday.
(8/23-9/22) You've got lots of friends, lots to do and lots to do it to. The energy's coming in from school and traveling situations. Maybe it's just in your mind, for now, but you're seeking more stability. It's clear. Your career moves forward. Contracts—on the first week in June. Your artistic input (that's why they hired you, right?) is/will be due on June 9th/10th. Put it into gear the week after the Summer Solstice. Happy "Harvest Moon," by Neil Young.
(9/23-10/22) You wish you hadn't fallen in love (liar!), but it just feels sooooo good! (The forbidden always does, doesn't it? It is just soooo…forbidden!) Now we're closer to the truth. I can hear your excuse, as you start to sing, "It Might as Well be Spring."
(10/23-11/21) Back to your cave and lick your wounds. Rough Taurus? How does the MoJo know? Listen to "With or Without You," by U2. Next week should prove better…? Start your art and/to be reborn. See ya in six short months.
(11/22-12/21) Even with this latest of springs, you've got two or three more weeks to start something new, exciting and/or fresh—enough to last you for this coming year. Stay as light as the light. What sparks you? Who you gonna spark it to? "Born to be Wild," by Steppenwolf.
(12/22-1/19) I know it's hard being a Capricorn, but guess what? It's your weekend till Sunday morning. You'll have just enough time to beg forgiveness at church for the wonderful time you had all weekend! Isn't the cycle of guilt wonderful? And if that doesn't work, you can always buy your way out… "Money," done first by Berry Gordy, and then Pink Floyd.
(1/20-2/18) You can't wait, can you? You're alone on the thundering, primeval plane. Lightning hastens your spring, as thunder rolls from your belly. A hunger is clawing at you, driving you on; driving you mad (short trip?)! You feel "compelled," but for what? For whom? For when? Tune in next week to find a way to "What's Going On," from master songster Marvin Gaye.
(2/19-3/20) Rebirth is tough! Are you a mystic, or just another fish in the sea? It's up to thee and what's meant to be. I vote for "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison, but then I've always had that predilection in my diction. How about you, Boo Boo, from Yogi Bare (Leave it! I meant to spell it that way—from Miguel Jose).
(3/21-4/19) Money, money, money. Read Capricorn and experience your future karma.
